Lewis River Falls

Lower Lewis River Falls is about a three minute walk from the parking lot. There are two other falls that you can hike too. The terrain is mostly dirt and there are some board walk ways along the way with lookout points that go close the water.

LENGTH: 8.8 Miles (Roundtrip)

BATHROOM: Yes

PASS NEEDED: Northwest Forest Pass

LOCATION: Cougar, WA 98616

Insider Tip:

Lower Lewis River Falls is one of my favorite places to go and swim. The access point is on the right side of the lookout point on the trail. The Upper Falls has a lookout point below the falls and then an access point to get really close to the falls!

  1. This is an amazing hike that we did as a family. It has different levels of hikes based on your desire or condition of health. Short hike to the first fall anyone can do. Overall, this is a breath taking view out what the Northwest has to offer us in beauty and serenity.
